Laura, Co-owner/Stylist/Educator
Laura Kiorkis, Co-Owner and Creative Director, has been styling hair since 2001. She is a Redken Specialist, an Aquage Master Class Academy graduate and has successfuly completed creative cutting and coloring classes at the Mayfair Academy in London, England. Her exceptional ability to constantly reinvent the art of hairdressing makes her an incomprable asset to the world of cosmetology.
Laura’s passion for hair is unmatched and it shows through her creative and highly skilled techniques. Through continued education and her strive for perfection, Laura’s aim is to give her guests the most exceptional experience possible. She absolutely loves what she does and it shows.
In addition to servicing her clients, Laura is a co-educator in our mentorship program. She has helped shape our wonderful team of hairdressers and continues to strive for a top-notch team through our Associate Training Program.
Laura’s expert specialties include Blonding, Balayage, extensions, and precision cutting. She is also a Cerftified Bellami Extension Specialist who can customize extension services bespoke to each individual client.
Lisa, Co-owner/Stylist/Educator
Lisa Kiorkis has been in the hair industry since 2003 and has been a licensed cosmetologist for over 20 years. Her ability to listen and envision creative and complimentary hair styling makes her services exceptional.
One of Lisa’s most coveted accomplishments is styling for 3 seasons at New York Fashion Week. She has attended Redken Symposium in Las Vegas, Neuma Experience workshops in California, and worked in LA with producers and photographers, styling models and actresses.
Lisa currently sits on the Advisory Board for the education program at Penrose School of Cosmetology in addition to guest speaking at local beauty schools in Phoenix and Scottsdale.
Lisa graduated from the Aquage Master Academy in Las Vegas in 2014 and is Rezo Curly Hair Certified in 2023 and has continued her education attending industry events all across the country. She has been a Master Hairdresser for over 17 years. Lisa also co-designed the education program and co-mentors all incoming associates at Gemini of Chicago with her sister Laura through the Co-Stylist Training Program
Lisa’s expert specialties include Rezo Certified Curly Specialist, precision cutting, blonding, and balayage coloring.
Kassidy - Master Stylist, Educator
Kassidy is very excited and passionate about her craft. She takes pride in making her guests feel comfortable and excited about their services and loves working with hair. Kassidy has shown her exceptional talent through the years and has created a loyal and devoted following.
She has been through extensive training and loves keeping up with her trade. Kassidy is great with updos, color and cutting. She loves a challenge and never hesitates to try out the latest and greatest techniques.
Kassidy has attended Redken Symposium Advanced Education in Las Vegas and Neuma Organic Haircare Educational Training in California. She is always staying up to date with the latest techniques, trends and training and is currently an educator to new incoming associates at our salon. Her need to constantly learn and grow has kept her skills sharp and cutting edge.
Kassidy’s specialties include precision cutting and specialized Color including balayage and blonding. Kassidy is also a Certified Bellami Extension Specialist!
Didi - Master Stylist, Educator
Didi has been a stylist for over 10 years and is very well trained in cutting and coloring. She is always learning new styles and techniques and loves to advance her education with training and classes in color and cutting.
Didi has mastered her craft and continues to seek advanced training whenever possible. She has attended Redken Symposium in Las Vegas and is a Master Hairdresser. Didi’s master craft and skill has made her an invaluable asset to Gemini of Chicago. She is now a team leader in education training for the staff and is always ready to advance her cutting and coloring technique.
Didi’s specialties include blonding and balayage coloring, cutting and specialized color. Didi is also a Certified Bellami Extension Specialist!
Ester - Master Stylist, Educator
Ester has worked at Gemini of Chicago Salon since 2015. She specializes in Cutting, Coloring, and Styling. Her Balayage skills are amazing and she is great with all hair types!
Ester has trained and worked in Los Angeles, worked on professional movie sets and celebrity events styling high profile clients and has built a great following. She continues her education regularly and loves to learn new techniques to advance her skills making her a shining star in the hair industry.
Ester is passionate about her craft and is an educator who mentors staff regularly to make sure our team has the skills and education they need to advance their talent.
Ester’s specialties include expert styling, precision cutting, balayage and specialized color. She is also a Certified Bellami Extension Specialist!
Serena, Master Stylist
Serena is one of our vey talented master stylists who has become a household veteran. Her range of services rivals any master stylist and she is always furthering her knowledge base to expand her skill set and provide the best in her craft.
Serena has been a licensed stylist for over 7 years and her dedication to her craft shows.
Serena loves color and cutting and is a retail product expert! She is also Certified Bellami Extension Specialist!
Minnady, Stylist
Minnady is one of our talented stylists at Gemini of Chicago and is now expanding her range of new clients after previewing her talent the past couple of years. She loves wowing her guests with her creativity and color creations.
Minnady is very motivated and loves interacting with her guests. She is skilled in all areas of hair styling and is taking clients full time!
Alyx, Stylist
Alyx is the one of our newest stylists at Gemini of Chicago. She has completed our Associate Training program and is ready to meet new clients like you!
Alyx is very motivated and happy to take appointments full time. She loves blonding and balayage and is always expanding her skill set. Watching her do a blonde transformation is something we all love!

Sydney, Stylist
Sydney is the newest addition to our stylist team! She is a licensed stylist ready to take her skill set to the next level and has proven herself with our entire team.
She comes to the floor with exceptional skill installing weft and ktip extensions, loves to color and is mastering her cutting skills more and more every day!
Sydney is very motivated and happy to guide our incoming Apprentices with her expertise and leadership.
Kaitlyn, Stylist Assistant
Kaitlyn is a veteran on our Associate Team. She is a licensed stylist always ready to assist at an expert level.

Stephanie, Concierge Desk - Lead Coordinator
Stephanie’s friendly personality and positive attitude are part of what make the experience at Gemini of Chicago such a great one. She is always ready to help our guests and give them the care and attention they deserve with the utmost compassion and kindness. Stephanie is an integral part of our operations and we look forward to her magnetic energy every day. Our customers are always complimenting her 5-star service and letting us know what a valuable role she plays.
Stephanie also heads our Concierge Service implementation and training with our staff. She is always adding integral input to better our salon culture and service philosophies so we may provide guests with an exceptional experience.
Karmin, Concierge Desk - Coordinator
Karmin is the other half of to our Concierge Team. She has really aligned herself to our culture, service roles, and personalities and we adore her willingness to accommodate.
She is always ready to help a guest, make recommendations and assist our staff and guests through a seamless experience.
