Laura, Co-owner/Stylist/Educator

Laura Kiorkis, Co-Owner and Creative Director, has been styling hair since 2001.  She is a Redken Specialist, an Aquage Master Class Academy graduate and has successfuly completed creative cutting and coloring classes at the Mayfair Academy in London, England. Her exceptional ability to constantly reinvent the art of hairdressing makes her an incomprable asset to the world of cosmetology.

Laura’s passion for hair is unmatched and it shows through her creative and highly skilled techniques.  Through continued education and her strive for perfection, Laura’s aim is to give her guests the most exceptional experience possible.  She absolutely loves what she does and it shows.

In addition to servicing her clients, Laura is a co-educator in our mentorship program.  She has helped shape our wonderful team of hairdressers and continues to strive for a top-notch team through our Associate Training Program.

Laura’s expert specialties include Blonding, Balayage, curly hair texture and precision cutting. She is also a Cerftified Bellami Extension Specialist.

Lisa, Co-owner/Stylist/Educator

Lisa Kiorkis, a Redken Specialist, has been in the hair industry since 2003 and has been a licensed cosmetologist for over 16 years.  Her ability to listen and envision creative and complimentary hair styling makes her services shine.

Lisa was honored to hairstyle during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York working for Designers such as: Sachin + Babi, Johnathan Simkhai, Raleigh Denim and En Noir.  She has attended Redken Symposium in Las Vegas, Neuma Experience workshops, and worked on set in Los Angeles, with producers, fashion designers and photographers, styling models and actresses.  In August of 2012, Lisa organized and executed her own fashion show, Modele Ruse, which included fashion from 4 different local designers.

Lisa currently sits on the Advisory Board for the education program at Avalon School of Cosmetology in addition to speaking as a panelist on Women’s Empowerment events within her community.

Lisa graduated from the Aquage Master Academy in Las Vegas in 2014 and has continued her education attending industry events all across the country. She has been a Master Hairdresser for over 12 years.  Lisa also co-designed the education program and co-mentors all incoming associates at Gemini of Chicago with her sister Laura through the Associate Training Programl

Kassidy, Stylist/Educator

Kassidy is very excited and passionate about her craft.  She takes pride in making her guests feel comfortable and excited about their services and loves working with hair. Kassidy has shown her exceptional talent through the years and has created a loyal and devoted following.

She has been through extensive training and loves keeping up with her trade.  Kassidy is great with updos, color and cutting.  She loves a challenge and never hesitates to try out the latest and greatest techniques.

Kassidy has attended Redken Symposium Advanced Education in Las Vegas and Neuma Organic Haircare Educational Training in California. She is always staying up to date with the latest techniques, trends and training and is currently an educator to new incoming associates at our salon.  Her need to constantly learn and grow has kept her skills sharp and cutting edge.

Kassidy’s specialties include precision cutting and specialized Color including balayage and blonding.

Didi, Stylist/Educator

Didi has been a stylist for over 10 years and is very well trained in cutting and coloring.  She is always learning new styles and techniques and loves to advance her education with training and classes in color and cutting.

Didi has mastered her craft and continues to seek advanced training whenever possible.  She has attended Redken Symposium in Las Vegas and is a Master Hairdresser.  Didi’s master craft and skill has made her an invaluable asset to Gemini of Chicago.  She is now a team leader in education training for the staff and is always ready to advance her cutting and coloring technique.

Didi’s specialties include blonding and balayage coloring, cutting and specialized color.

Ester, Stylist/Educator

Ester has worked at Gemini of Chicago Salon since 2015. She specializes in Cutting, Coloring, and Styling. Her Balayage skills are amazing and she is great with all hair types!

Ester has trained and worked in Los Angeles, worked on professional movie sets and celebrity events styling high profile clients and has built a great following. She continues her education regularly and loves to learn new techniques to advance her skills making her a shining star in the hair industry.

Ester is passionate about her craft and is an educator who mentors staff regularly to make sure our team has the skills and education they need to advance their talent.

Ester’s specialties include expert styling, precision cutting, balayage and specialized color. She is also a Certified Bellami Extension Specialist!

Bailey, Stylist

Bailey has honed in on her craft and is making a splash as a seasoned stylist at our salon.

Bailey is passionate about color, styling and loves to do hair. She started in the beauty industry as soon as career options were a choice and we are so excited for her fresh creativity and motivation on our salon floor.

Hailey, Stylist

Hailey is the newest addition to our team of stylists.

Hailey is very dedicated to her craft and loves to style, cut and color. She is finished with her apprenticeship and will be quickly filling up her books!

She has hit the ground running and is passionate about her fresh and buzzing career path!

Minnady, Stylist

Minnady is one of our newest stylists at Gemini of Chicago and is now taking new clients after completing her apprenticeship with Ester. She loves wowing her guests with her creativity and color creations.

Minnady is very motivated and loves interacting with her guests. She is skilled in all areas of hair styling and is taking clients full time!

Dilynn, Style Associate

Dilynn is the most senior stylist of our Associate Team. She is a licensed stylist that will become our newest talent once she finishes her apprenticeship with Laura.

Dilynn is very motivated and happy to join our team. We love watching her blossom in her craft.

Lacey, Stylist Associate

Lacey is the newest addition to our Associate Team. She is a licensed stylist ready to take her skill set to the next level!

Sydney, Stylist Associate

Stephanie, Front Desk Lead Coordinator

Stephanie’s friendly personality and positive attitude are part of what make the experience at Gemini of Chicago such a great one. She is always ready to help our guests and give them the care and attention they deserve with the utmost compassion and kindness. Stephanie is an integral part of our operations and we look forward to her magnetic energy every day. Our customers are always complimenting her 5-star service and letting us know what a valuable role she plays.

Stephanie also heads our customer service implementation and training with our staff and is always adding integral input to better our salon culture and service philosphies so we may provide guests with an exc experience.

Karmin, Front Desk Coordinator

Karmin is the newest addition to our Front Desk Team. She recently moved back to the states from Canada and has previous salon experience that is evident in her excellent communication skills and friendly face.

She is always willing to help a guest, make recommendations and help everyone through a seamless experience.
